About Rabbit Mountain Music
Rabbit Mountain Music was founded by married couple Priscilla Arasaki and Chris Ruiz. Both Chris and Priscilla hold Master's of Music degrees and are prolific performers. They wanted to create a service that would provide high quality live music for meaningful events such as weddings, birthdays and professional gatherings across Colorado. Musician Bios
Chris Ruiz
Chris has two decades of experience performing on saxophone, clarinet and flute. He has played throughout Colorado in a variety of settings from weddings to concert halls. Chris holds a B.A. in Music from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.M. in Performance from the University of Colorado Boulder. He has experience playing in a wide variety of styles including classical, jazz, and folk.

Priscilla Arasaki
Priscilla Arasaki has received her B.M.E from the University of Texas Sarah and Ernest Butler School of Music and her M.M. from the University of Colorado Boulder. She has performed for numerous weddings and events in the Metro Austin area and the Front Range. Priscilla has classical experience from her membership in the Longmont Symphony Orchestra and Temple Symphony. She also has mariachi experience through working the Las Dahlias, an all female Latina ensemble, and other mariachi ensembles in the Front Range.

Chue Vue
Chue Yeng Vue holds music degrees from Colorado State University and Arizona State University. He currently serves as Director of Orchestras at Westview Middle School in Longmont, Colorado. Vue is also a private violin and viola instructor and maintains an active studio. As a violist, he has performed with Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra, Aurora Symphony, Phoenix Symphony, Denver Philharmonic, Stratus Chamber Orchestra, and is Principal Viola of Longmont Symphony Orchestra. In his free time he enjoys cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with his French Bulldog, Bubba.

Adam Buer
Adam Buer received a Bachelor of Music Degree in Instrumental Music Education and a Master of Music Degree in Guitar Performance from the University of Idaho. Adam has performed with the Symphony Orchestras of Spokane and Walla Walla, the Boulder Guitar Orchestra, and Longmont Theater Company. He continues to perform in a variety of solo settings and in collaboration with The Central City Opera, The Jazz Importers and The Dollhouse Thieves. Adam’s teachers have included James Reid, Nicolò Spera, Vern Sielert, and Dale Bruning. In recent years, Adam has served as an adjudicator of the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival (2016) and appeared as a guest artist at the Western Colorado Writers Workshop in Gunnison.

Monica Smiley
Monica Smiley is a cellist and music educator. Ms. Smiley earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has performed with the CU Symphony Orchestra from under the direction of Gary Lewis. Monica is a current member of the Longmont Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Elliot Moore. Every May, Monica is invited to perform with the world-renowned "Mahlerfest" Orchestra.

Mallory is a Colorado native and attended Colorado State University (Go Rams!). At CSU, she studied journalism, counseling, and violin performance. She studied violin under the instruction of Professors Ron Francois and Leslie Stewart. In addition, she built her musicianship as a member of the CSU Symphony Orchestra, CSU Chamber Orchestra and a student quartet. One of her proudest musical achievements was playing Carmina Burana and the Mozart opera “The Magic Flute” with the CSU Opera. One of her coolest achievements was opening for the metal band, Anchorage, at the Fort Collins Music Experiment festival in 2010. Mallory was a member of the Longmont Symphony Orchestra for 7 years and recently joined the Poudre Valley Health and Wellness Orchestra in Fort Collins. Through the years, she’s shared her passion for music by playing weddings along the front range.
